AMP-5 is a potent natural vasodilator which produces a marked increase in blood circulation to both the skeletal and cardiac muscle. Contains Adenosine-5-monophosphate 200mg/mL. AMP-5 is indicated for use in anticipation of severe cardiac load in performance horses, as well as in situations where increased blood perfusion to lower legs and feet is required (laminitis, lower leg wounds), or in treatment of myocardial oxygen deficit as evidenced by performance linked ECG changes. Because of its ability to improve tissue blood supply, AMP-5 is of value in preventing Tying Up syndrome.
